In her role as Business Analyst, Carrie Taylor is the bridge between our technology team and business team. She is a master communicator, with deep experience in multiple domains, including programming, documentation, project management, and product ownership. Carrie was drawn to Milliman HealthIO thanks to our data-driven approach to healthcare. She is passionate about using data to inform better decisions and encouraged that our platform helps our clients and program members to achieve that goal.
Before joining our team, Carrie spent nearly 30 years with Northwestern Mutual. She began her career as a mainframe programmer and systems analyst with strong project management skills. She then shifted her focus and became a business analyst and eventually the product owner for an internal application. In her final role with Northwestern Mutual, she served as a senior business analyst, where she ensured compliance with regulatory requirements.
Carrie graduated with a BA in Journalism and Advertising from University of Wisconsin-Madison. She earned her Master’s in Management Information Systems from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
Outside of work, Carrie is always on the go with her family. From tennis to hiking and golfing to biking, she is grateful for their active lifestyle. Some of her favorite places to visit include Door County, Wisconsin and the family cottage in Northern Ontario. During football season, Carrie heads to Madison to cheer on the Badgers with fellow Wisconsin fans.
